Kathryn A. Jarboe, 80, of Indianapolis, peacefully passed away surrounded by family on September 23, 2019. She was born on February 16, 1939 in Indianapolis to John and Roberta (Krodel) Hagan.

She enjoyed bowling and dancing, but her passion was her family, especially raising her 5 boys.  As her children grew up she loved attending their sporting events and kept many treasured keepsakes. Throughout her career in the restaurant industry she developed many lifelong friendships.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Thomas J. Figg; second husband Herbert A. Jarboe; son Brian Thomas Figg; stepson Bruce A. Jarboe; siblings Donald Hagan, Robert Hagan, Marilyn Neville , Joan Weimer, and Tom Hagan.

She is survived by her sons Mark T. (Nancy), Christopher (Judy), Thomas J. Jr., and Lawrence J. Figg; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 25 at Indiana Funeral Care, Harry W . Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road from 4 to 7 pm. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Ovar’coming Together at www.ovariancancerin.org

    Aunt Kathy always greeted me with , Hey Reg! I asked her many years ago why she always called me Reggie. Her response; You always looked like a Reggie to me. That nickname stuck to this day. Rest in peace aunt Kathy.
